Singular expression of quantity : one , each , every

One , each, every are followed immediately by singular counts noun ( never plural noun , never noncount noun )
Example :
- one student was late to class
- each student has a schedule
- every student has a schedule

One of , each of , and every one of are followed by specific plural count nouns ( never singular nouns; never noncount nouns )

Example
- one of the students was late to class
- each one of the students has a schedule
Every one of the students has a schedule

Note :
Every one ( two words ) is an expression of wuantity : e.g., I have read every one of those book
Everyone ( one word ) is an indifinite pronoun. It has the same meaning as everybody . e.g., everyone/everybody has a schedule

- each and every has essentially the same meaning.
Each is used when the speaker is thinking of one person / thing at a time: each student has a schedule = mary has a schedule , carelos has a schedule
Every is used when the speaker means “all” every students has a schedule. = all of the students has a schedules
